Dear Philly,

Dear Philadelphians and Main Line Residents, readers and food-eaters of all kinds & fellow Villanovans,

Would you like to have lunch with me? Where shall we go?

Let me know,

I would love to have lunch with you, provided there is meat. And it’s the weekend of March 12th.

Hi Rupert! I think we will go for a two-night extravaganza, as long as you are ready for a long run in the morning. (And keep in mind we like to run in the mud and snow around here. More fun.) Night one is the warmup- Pub & Kitchen- I’m getting the fish & chips, you’ll have the banger sandwich. And salad for Dani, or beer if they don’t have salad. I think it will remind you of the fair British Isles of your youth. Night two, Amada, for the Piquillos rellenos, Revuelto, Short-rib flatbread, Spanish octopus, spicy potatoes, Valenciana paella. Oh, yes, a feast. All for you. ❤ loqi

Here’s a Villanova professor who will go out with you…what’s left to try out that’s not far from campus?

    • loqiii Says:

Hi Dr. K! Depending on what suits your fancy, we have several options in the immediate area: The Chilled No-Rice Sushi Roll at Nectar, in Berwyn; the Prime Steak Burger at Du Jour, in Haverford; or possibly the Pan-Seared Duck Breast at Kaya’s Fusion Cuisine in Havertown. What do you think?

Trying to get to Philadelphia to have dinner with you, but all that white stuff is keeping this Florida girl in the south for awhile. Should be there in late March or early April.

Obviously I have become obsessed with this blog and obviously I am up for anything. You name the time and place as my schedule (being a second semester senior) has never been this free before. It’s quite liberating, actually.

I’m a ML mom, fellow foodie, and work at VSB. So – two out of three things in common! It would be fun to meet for dinner some time to exchange notes…love your blog and your interview with Philly Mag. It’s a big deal for this mom to get out – so prefer to hit someplace IN the city – I get enough of the ML fare.

    • loqiii Says:

Hi Maggie. Very cool, on the topic of ML, I will be visiting Verdad tomorrow night because they’re bringing back the Carmine’s menu for a short while. What kind of place would you like to visit?

  6. Brooke Says:

Your blog is awesome. We are huge fans of it in Chester County – are you planning an upcoming lunch in Kennett Square any time soon? Sovana bistro is fantastic!!

    • loqiii Says:

Hey Brooke! Yes, Sovana had crossed my mind, but I wasn’t sure where Kennett Square was– so I was procrastinating… you will see it soon, I promise.
